Meet the talented team at BoldlyU Magazine!
I got my first camera when I was 12. Since that day, I took every photography class I could get my hands on, all through grade school and into high school. Since then I have furthered my education through a Professional Photography Association, and continue taking classes yearly.
I’m known throughout Columbia and the Mid-Missouri area with my photography studio Triple Wonders Photography, but want to make an impact throughout the area with my new line BoldlyU.
Hello! My name is Kelci Gould and although I was born an army brat in Manhattan, Kansas, I’ve lived most of my life here in the Hallsville/Columbia area.
Being the daughter of Darla I’ve grown up in the photography business. Many people joke around with me and say, “I bet you get your picture taken all the time, huh?” Well of course the answer is “yes!” However, what most people don’t realize, is just how much I cherish the amazing memories my mom has caught on her camera over the years. Especially being married now to my wonderful husband Patrick I can’t wait to have even more memories captured as the years go by! This being the very reason I am a part of the business today! I want each and every household to have pictures to cherish for a lifetime!
Although I won’t be the one taking the pictures I love being in the office, driving this passion filled business forward! I also enjoy assisting on photo shoots to see the joy and energy of the tweens! I am looking forward to working with each and every one of you in the future! Best!
My name is Mikala Roach and I am the Director of BoldlyUs. I was born and raised in Columbia, MO, so my heart is very rooted in the youth in our community.
When I was in middle school I struggled a lot with my confidence, I didn’t feel important and fell into depression at only 12 years old. I struggled in silence for the next 6 years. In high school I was blessed to be the Youth Creative Intern at Woodcrest Chapel where I was able to lead the youth worship band. This was only the beginning of my desire to help kids gain confidence and form lasting relationships with self-love and God.
Whenever I’m not at work or a Mexican restaurant, I’m usually at home with my boyfriend Eric, my cat Mistoffelees (Cat’s the Musical, anyone?) and his dog Grissom. I’m a huge fan of all of my boys. I also enjoy playing with hula hoops, watching Moana for the thousandth time, and playing Minecraft.
Hi! My name is Kimie Harmon and I am head of sales for BoldlyU. I was born an army brat in Fort Lewis, Washington. Although I was born in Washington, I have lived in the Columbia area most of my life. Growing up I struggled a lot with my identity, my confidence, and loving myself. When I was in high school I started mentoring those younger then me. I wanted to help them through their struggles and show them that they aren’t alone. This has always been a desire of mine and with BoldlyU I am able to help get the magazine to tweens and show them that they aren’t alone while being able to help create a platform where they can share their story. I have always been blessed because I have family and friends there to support me and be there for me. I also have an adorable puppy that means the world to me. Since I am a Washington baby I do love the mountains and of course the snow. I also grew up playing sports and being outside in nature. I still love doing both. I look forward to impacting more tweens with BoldlyU and continue to be apart of this journey.
